The Wilson RF 01 is a premium performance tennis racket co-designed, playtested, and inspired by Roger Federer to meet the demands of the modern, heavy-baseline game while preserving classic all-court artistry. Weighing 300 grams unstrung, this mid-weight model serves as a highly approachable option compared to the heavier Pro version. It gives intermediate to advanced ball strikers an optimal balance of user-friendly power, rapid handling, and surgical target precision.

The frame introduces the innovative SABR Frame Design, a specialized aerodynamic geometric mold developed in collaboration with Federer. This unique structure reduces wind resistance through the air to facilitate fast swing speeds, letting players effortlessly execute the rapid changes in pace, spin, and direction signature to an attacking style. Swing acceleration is further optimized by Glide Guard technology, which integrates a smooth, low-profile bumper and grommet layout across the upper hoop to minimize air drag.

Classic ball-pocketing and feedback are preserved via Braid 45 technology, which weaves double-braided graphite fibers at 45-degree angles to optimize torsional stability and extend ball dwell time on modern, vertical swing paths. To eliminate harsh impact shock, the entire inner surface of the frame is fully injected with premium Feel Fill polyurethane foam dampening, generating a uniquely solid feel and clean, vibration-free response on contact.
