The HEAD Coco Junior 23 is a colorful, high-spirited youth tennis racket designed to introduce young players to the court with complete ease and joy. Named in honor of HEAD ambassador and Grand Slam champion Coco Gauff, this 23-inch frame features a vibrant, imaginative design that is highly appealing to beginners. It is engineered specifically for developing junior players aged 6 to 8, or those measuring between 115 cm and 125 cm (45 to 49 inches) tall, who are learning the foundational basics of the game.
Constructed from a lightweight and structurally sound high-strength alloy frame, this racket offers excellent maneuverability and easy handling for little hands. To ensure a comfortable, arm-friendly experience, the frame features an integrated Damp Plus insert. This unique technology effectively isolates ball impact shocks directly at the throat, filtering out harsh frame vibrations to mitigate physical fatigue and protect growing muscles during practice rallies.
Equipped with a generous 98-square-inch head size and an open 16x18 string pattern, the frame yields an expanded, exceptionally forgiving sweet spot that actively reduces mishits. To assist with early technical progression, the racket incorporates an intuitive two-color grip layout, which guides young players on proper hand placement for a more controlled swing. Arriving pre-strung from the factory, it includes a colorful header-card that can be detached and worn as a playful mask, alongside custom stickers to make their first steps in tennis truly memorable.
