Engineered for precise thermal wax application on skis and snowboards, this dedicated tuning iron features a thick, die-cast aluminum base plate that ensures even heat distribution across the entire melting surface. The thick plate retains thermal mass to prevent rapid temperature drops when contacting cold bases, eliminating wax scorching and structural base damage. An adjustable analog thermostat dial provides precise temperature control ranging from low-temperature fluorinated and hydrocarbon waxes to high-melting-point cold weather formulas.

Designed with an ergonomic handle and a textured base plate, the iron facilitates smooth, uniform wax flow and easy gliding along the base structure. Micro-grooves on the base plate help distribute melted wax evenly while preventing hydraulic suction against the base surface during passes.
